China leaves door open for currency reform - People's Daily Online

  1. Honestly I have to give a point to Wen Jianbao: Other countries are trying to bring down their currency so they can deal with their trade deficit meanwhile they want other countries (should i think in china) to appreciate...according to him this is also protectionism. China is facing inflation, and as an investor it is worried (should i say scared like many of us?) of the performance of the dollar amid increasing government debt yet appreciation of the renmibi would be possible in order to hep china get out of the inflation and avoid a double dip but government has to be cautious and take under consideration the big picture of the state of the economy world wide in order to do such a move. This article sounds more neutral than the other one from england that said that china was not willing to appreciate here says the opposite that china is considering it ...I always like to hear both sides of the stories it ads more perception
