I am a regular "Joe" may be not a plumber but a regular average next door guy who is concerned with USA economy. Currently underemployed and with a $ 250 000 in student loans and with a bankruptcy filed not long time ago my passion for the state of the economy arouse ... My purpose is to gather information from different journals and or blogs and help those fellows americans interested in the economy have a broader perception of what really is happening.
This article seems to be written in order to fill out space... The initial unemployment rates still up while new claims are less, obviously companies trimmed as much meat as possible and the bone is exposed (companies have fired or laid off as much as it is "humanly" possible for them) no wonder the claims are down. Yet expect more lay offs: In a article from New York Times a company is expecting to reduced its work force between 10 - 13% because is moving one department in China...the company in question is laying off in USA and Europe at the end of this year...Regarding the trade this is tricky but obvious: A weak dollar wont do much considering that Europe is doing bad too...because the Yuan is peg to the dollar China will always have a tempting and advantageous position... Simply put there hasnt been changes
