I am a regular "Joe" may be not a plumber but a regular average next door guy who is concerned with USA economy. Currently underemployed and with a $ 250 000 in student loans and with a bankruptcy filed not long time ago my passion for the state of the economy arouse ... My purpose is to gather information from different journals and or blogs and help those fellows americans interested in the economy have a broader perception of what really is happening.
The irony of a resilient, bouncing economy...reading through this you will notice 3 things: 1) foreclosures are increasing, homelessness on the rise and emergency places to live are full 2) People that never used food stamps are using them 3) The government aid for people in distress is a difficult task to deliver to the righteous, deserving person... YET If this is happening and the unemployment is going down, companies are hiring and everything is back to normal then why are we seeing all this? The question is what would happen if the government stops giving food stamps, unemployment benefits, etc etc etc? The recovery that we are experiencing is just a mirage caused by massive government spending...
