I am a regular "Joe" may be not a plumber but a regular average next door guy who is concerned with USA economy. Currently underemployed and with a $ 250 000 in student loans and with a bankruptcy filed not long time ago my passion for the state of the economy arouse ... My purpose is to gather information from different journals and or blogs and help those fellows americans interested in the economy have a broader perception of what really is happening.
Nothing new ...CA Inc is laying off 2 000, Nummi's shutdown affects more than 20 000 people, another companies is laying off 4 200 (forgot the name), the third biggest home builder laid off personnel and the list goes...if you read carefully they used a lot the word volatile and not seasonally adjusted which translates "it could be more" or "we really dont know what is going on" and second the 162 000 new jobs that they are claiming is not real...according to a radio broadcast the BLS admitted that the real number was 114 000 ... go figure ....then we dont count unemployed people that already used the benefits and are using other sources (this translates in a drop on first timers) and the list can go on ... the U6 was up which means that unemployment is on the rise ....
